It all kicked off the way most great Aussie ideas do a few lawn fanatics sitting around in the backyard, having a yarn over a cold one, admiring a fresh set of stripes.

One bloke reckons, “These fertilisers cost more than me mower.”

Another says, “There’s gotta be a better way to get the good stuff without paying like you’re feeding a racehorse.”

That’s when the idea grew legs.

We weren’t corporate suits or chemical engineers. Just a crew of green-thumbed backyard warriors who cared a bit too much about lawn stripes, soil health, and Saturday morning mow rituals. We compared notes, shared tips, trialled everything we could get our hands on and decided it was time to bring something better to the table.
